Calling All Volunteers!

The ReCyclery is looking for a few good folks to help us for some

spring (and summer) cleaning!

We have the following volunteer opportunities available:

UpCycle Shop Manager- Interested in honing in on one project to call your own? The ReCyclery is in search for someone(s) to revamp, re-organize, and 'remodel' our community free section. Our UpCycle space is an area enjoyed by the community, offering free bike parts and accessories for cycling, craft, and general Upcycling purposes.

The ideal person(s) would be a creative, self-starter, ready to get their hands dirty! Great position for two people to tag team.

This position requires supervision of other volunteers and community members.

Weekly availability preferred.

Carpenter/Construction Volunteers- Do you have carpenter skills or construction expertise? Do you enjoy working with your hands and have your own tools? We are looking for volunteers to help build shelves, storage containers, and general maintenance around our campus. Ideally these individuals would be able to source donated parts or have the ability to repurpose materials to create sound structures.

Availability dependent on projects.

Donation Coordinator- Want to volunteer with the ReCyclery but not mechanically inclined? We are looking for volunteer(s) to sort our donations and organize them for public and shop use.

This position requires attention to detail, organization skills, creative thinking, and willingness to learn.

Weekly availability preferred.

Community Outreach Coordinator- Love engaging with people? Want to tell everyone about how awesome the ReCyclery is and why it's important to their community? Join our Community Outreach team for special events throughout the year! The Community Outreach Coordinator will be available at events such as the Chetzemoka Trail Grand Opening, PT & Chimacum Farmer's Markets, and more!

Availability dependent on events.
