EARN-A-BIKE
VOLUNTEER WITH US AND EARN A BIKE ALONG THE WAY!
The Earn-A-Bike (EAB) program encourages people interested in learning bicycle mechanics to donate 25 hours of service to The ReCyclery over the course of up to a year, in exchange for gaining valuable mechanic skills and the opportunity to build their own bicycle.
There are two steps to earning your bike:
STEP 1: VOLUNTEER
Volunteer a minimum of 25 hours during open hours Thursday-Saturday, while completing a skills checklist
STEP 2: BUILD YOUR BIKE!
Pick a pre-owned bike and put your new bike mechanic skills into practice. You’ll have continued access to our shop resources to help you complete your bike project successfully.
