ASSISTANT BIKE EDUCATOR
for our
TEENS BIKING TO DESTINATIONS PROGRAM
Position Summary: To Co-Lead the Teens Biking To Destinations program for students in 6th - 12th grades. The program runs for 12 - 15 weeks, meeting weekly, after school. The program follows a pre-built curriculum that involves basic bike maintenance, bike riding skills and group rides.
Overall: The Lead Educator helps build a sense of community using the 6 C’s (Confidence, Competence, Connection, Caring, Contribution, Character) models and fosters good communication skills and looks for opportunities to include everyone. The role is both mentor and instructor.
Classification:
Part time @ $28 - $32 /per hour (depending on experience)
Weekly hours: 5 - 10 (depending on # of cohorts you work with)
